Sevilla -- aimg_1210.jpg

The Giralda. Originally a minaret, it was converted to a bell tower for the Cathedral of Seville. To get to the top you walk up a series of ramps. Why no steps? The muezzin (the one who leads the call to prayer) didn't want to walk to the top, so he had ramps put in so he could ride a horse to the top.
